From May 12-29, Florida lawmakers will be working to finalize a state budget. We need to use this opportunity to contact Florida state legislators and tell them to stop funding charter schools, to create a separate Florida Empowerment Fund for vouchers, rather than deplete public school budget, and to pay teachers a fair wage (Florida ranks 50th in the country for teacher pay!). We must ensure a good education for future generations to come.
